Olivia K And The Parkers: Good Things

Between 2021 and 2024, I was incredibly privileged to be the art director for New York funk band Olivia K and the Parkers. I worked closely with Olivia and band leader Jesse to create a visual language for the band’s flagship album. This included social graphics, bespoke patterns, and ultimately a music video for the single Good Things. It was a major challenge- I have always wanted to work on a music video, and I wanted to live up to the immense trust put in me by Olivia and Jesse. I learned so much about animating in Photoshop and After Effects, working with an assistant (my fabulous animator friend Mary Milner), and planning/organizing large projects. Years later, this is still one of my favorite portfolio pieces.
