My name is Ilana Blady- I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in New York.
I have been lucky enough to live and and work here since 2015, when I graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design. That July, I joined the team at Love and War, where I was an in-house designer/illustrator until 2025, and for whom I continue to do contract-based illustration work. I served as art director for up-and-coming jazz band Olivia K And The Parkers, including directing animation for their video “Good Things”(2021), and I have done freelance illustration work for clients like Adidas, Bindery Books, and Lincoln Center Theater. I am passionate about my craft down to the finest details, and pride myself in using my vast mental library of visual resources to give my clients unique, thoughtful results.

In addition to my commercial and editorial work, I am also a passionate sketchbook-keeper and fiber artist. I live in Queens, where I spend my downtime drawing buildings and hanging out with my cat, Felicity.
